I knew something was wrong…

I knew something was wrong…

– When you didn’t want to eat dinner.
– When I put blueberries in front of you and you didn’t eat them.
– When you didn’t want to play in the bath.
– When you screamed during a story.
– When you pushed you bottle away.
– When you didn’t want your teeth brushed.
– When I couldn’t sing “You are my sunshine”
– When you didn’t want to be rocked.
– When you didn’t cry for me as I left the room…

  1. He’s doing better now. We still don’t even know what was wrong but he had a high fever and was screaming and crying all day long. Just wanted to be held. He’s doing a little better this morning. Thanks for the well wishes!

  2. Man.. in this short list you truly captured the fear, worry, and heartache a mother experiences while nursing her little one back to health. We hold our breath until they are, “themselves,” again. It’s the worst! I’m happy to hear he is feeling better.
